Riding bikes on the beach

This morning we went to Venice Beach and rented bikes to ride. We also got a little trailer for Kaden and Elise. We had a great time!!!

Elise: "Hey, Kaden, this could be fast, so hang on to me if I get scared."

We rode from Venice to the junction of the 10 and the PCH. When we got back, they were both out. We gave Kaden a bottle of water, and after he fell asleep it spilled all over himself and Elise. I'm sure it felt good on a hot day. I think it's so cute how Elise is sleeping on Kaden's shoulder. He is such a good brother to her.

The DOC band

Elise has a flat little head in the back. We noticed it a few months ago and.... today she got her little helmet. It's called a DOC band.

We still love her :)

A little update

Before the joy of our fun Christmas pictures of Kaden are overshadowed by our joy of posting cute pictures of him playing with his little sister, I better get in gear and get our Christmas pictures posted.

We had such a great time in Idaho playing in the snow for 2 1/2 weeks at Christmas time. These are some of the memories :) We were so glad that they had TONS of snow!!!

A little bump

Last night Kaden and I were playing. Of course Kaden was having a great time, until he tripped and hit into the metal frame of our bed (the frame that the box springs sits on). He cried for about 1 minute, and I thought just like every other time he was totally fine. Then, I noticed his ear. Poor guy, it was so swollen, and black and blue. We went to the doctor, and everything is fine. He just has a really, really sore swollen ear.

We Love Disneyland :)

We had a great day at Disneyland yesterday. It was cooler than usual (only about 80 degrees) and the lines were so short! Perfect day! We met up with Andrea Fillmore (Ezra, 16 months) and Julie Bird (Kaylie, 14 months)

And, for those of you who have been waiting, Small World is open again :) It was fantastic!!!! You can't see the scenery behind us very well. It was amazing!
